HG FILTER

The HG filter is a range of high-efficiency gravity filters which
use non-woven fabric filters. The HG range is able to treat up to
600 liters per minute of neat oil between 200 and 1200 liters
per minute of water-based emulsions, contaminated either with
metallic and non-metallic particles.

Where is HG filter suitable?
This type of filter is suitable for the filtration of the coolant used in
many industrial processes: Drawning, Milling, Polishing, Grinding,
Washing, among other industrial processes.

Construction and principle of operation
The HG filter is built within a sturdy structure of sheet metal which
has a continuous conveyor belt made of wire mesh pulled into a
basin shape between two rotating disks. The filtering cloth passes
between the disc and the belt. Upon reaching the maximum level of
coolant inside the filter basin, the motor which moves the supported
the filter fabric is automatically activated. The separated sludge,
together with the fabric, is discarded outside in a specific container.
All the filtration process is completely automatic.

The standard HG filter comes complete with an electric level for
the advancement of filtering cloth fabric and an electrical alarm.
Also a microswitch signal is provided to detect when the paper roll
is near the end.

The HG filter can be also equipped with accessories such as a
recovery coolant tank or a combination with a pre-filtering magnetic
drum (MAGNET filter series).
